Default See wich variables are mapped during runtime

    Hi,

Is there some way to see in the service engine which SOT variables are mapped to Project variables?
Except pressing RMB on a screen element where the variable is linked to.

I would like to visualize on a given screen which screen elements got project variables linked to them and which got SOT variables. Without the need to separately define which variables are mapped.

    Thx

    Hello Lukas,
Unfortunately, It is not possible to find out in a clear overview which variables are mapped to which project variables in Service Engine so far,

can you tell me a little more about your use case? what do you want to achieve with that? because it is not clear enough for me what is the use case behind this screen you are planning to have.

    Hi,

    Thx for the clarification.

    A small example would be:

To define an SOT with lets say having 5 Numeric Values linked to 5 SOT variables.
If I want to visualize project variables I map the project variables to the SOT variables.
If I do not need all 5 numeric values, I link solely 2.
Now the ideal scenario would be if only Numeric Values are visible, for which its corresponding SOT variable is mapped to a project variable.

Maybe a Textelement that shows the variablename?

    Hi Lukas,

independent from disabling elements depending on the mapping status you also can create different versions of one equipment. E.g. a motor can have 200 variables or just 2. What I mean is to create different symbols for the same SOT and depending what type of equipment you have in use you choose the most suitable version. Ideally, all of those are inherited for easier maintenance.

Additional I think there is a possibility to add checkboxes as released property. So you can actively disable functions you do not need. Let me check an come back to you on this also.

    Kind regards
    Bernhard
