a.what is the OPC server version for Zenon 6.22?

b.what are the compliance Zenon 6.22 OPC Server with OPC Foundation?

the zenon OPC server for 6.22, is a general OPC DA 2.0 OPC server.

Other standards like Historical Data, Alarms and Events, OPC XML DA 3.0, etc. are not supported. COPA-DATA is an OPC foundation member.

For zenon 6.50, a OPC UA (Unified Architecture) Server is available.

Is it possible to control over FATEK PLC by OPC server?

Well, if Fatek offers an OPC Server, you can use the zenon OPC client driver to communicate.

However direct communication is preferable over OPC DA in many cases.

A quick google search revealed that the Fatek PLC allow Modbus TCP as an option in the communication module.

Have you tried that?

I used to Fatek OPC and SCADA Aspic 3.30 and there was no problem.
Use Modbus TCP communication module.
Now I want to try Zenon just not sure whether it can.

It should be possible with both an OPC Client and the Modbus TCP driver, where the latter should be preferred to avoid adding a third component in the communication.

i installed zenon 6.5 using windows 7 professional 64bit. but when i checked the dcom configurations zenon opc server is not available..

any idea?

Hi,

have you tried installing the OPC DA core components from the "additional software" folder on the zenon DVD?

Depending on your exact version, these may not be automatically installed.
