Can I use excel to read the file created by F_SAVERETAIN function?

I used F_SAVERETAIN function to save it to this path 'C:\Data\RetainVariables'. I got the file but could not open and see it in Excel. What kind of format of that file?

Hi,

the function F_SAVERETAIN creates a file in binary format and is only readable with the function F_LOADERETAIN.

Try this function  LogFileCSV instead.
