    Beitrag Distributed Engineering License doubts

    Hi,

I would like to know that, does the Distributed Engineering arrangement required a special license or can I use the usual engineering license?

    Thank you,
    Jay

as this is not an Energy specific question, i'm moving it to another forum node.

The distributed engineering does not need to be extra licensed, but of course it demands that on all PCs where (multi) users are running zenon Editor to access this project - the Editor is licensed for the right quantity of tags and modules.

Do the server in the distribution engineering setup for 'Network server for access by several clients' has to have windows server OS or is it okay to have OS windows 10 (Same as clients)?
