Demo License Key Issue in 8.10

Hello,

While importing DEMO810_Scada_Energy_Edition.WibuCM license file in codemeter control center from setup it is showing error as shown in screenshot Attachment-01.
In present license it is showing nothing in License Manager window as shown in screenshot Attachment-02.

Please suggest any other settings to do for Demo licensing?

Hello Rahul

The demo license for zenon gets installed with zenon there is no need to import anything. If you got a valid license and have problems with it contact your local support.

Same problem here with 8.20.

What is the solution? zenon 8.20 editor installation completed succesfully on Win 10 OS, but only one license presented Software-dongle (not activated).

Tried re-installation a few times but same problem.

Where licence files is stored? How to delete/remove old licencese?

the files are stored on the installation media in the folder:
<Drive Letter>:\Setup\License
you can try to drag and drop the license files in CodeMeter Control center one by one beginning with the files numbered 800. It is important to start with the 800 and then work your way up to 820 because the license files depend on each other.

For physical PCs you need the Base_Standard, for VMs the Base_Virtual Machine. Take either one but not both.

The other demo license files can coexist but also here: start with 800 and work your way to 820. 

Demo license files can only be installed once. So when you try to reinstall them - it will not work 

you can delete the the demo licenses with the cmu32.exe. This is a command line tool. You'll find it in the installation folder of CodeMeter.

But can we re-install zenon, or just codemeter, and on that way again activate demo licences?!
There is some really strange problem, we have it on 2 computer. Something wrong happens.
We tried with installation get from local distributor and also with installation from copa-data site.
Installation finished succesfully, without errors, but no demo licences presented in codemeterCC.
When open license manager, in license overview there is no either one demo license.
Also there is no Demo Mode as option when starting zenon...

no.


before the installation: was there zenon - or the demo license already installed on the PC? the demo license is kind of "sticky" once it is on that PC it cannot be installed another time. Also not, if you deleted the licenses or uninstalled CodeMeter.

If this is not the case, If the PC is "fresh" out of the box, it is a bug. If it doesn't even work with the "manual" process by dragging and dropping the demo license files to CodeMeter its a bug by CodeMeter.

No there was no any licence. Win OS 10 version 20H2 fresh installed.
It's definitelly bug with codemeter...but how to fix it?
Nothing can help, even deinstalling codemeterCC and zenon 8.20...
We also tried to delete manually all folder with codemeter name...
When try to drag and drop, we have message with error (262,233,266)(bassically it says that already activated on this computer)...but only Software dongle Standard container presented in CodemeterCC, no other demo licenses...

Hi again...
We solved the problem, supported from copa-data distributors...
Only solution is clean install of windows OS / reset of OS...
After that everithing works with demo licences...
