Vairablerw function in Report Generator is not writing the value to the designated variable

Hello,

I am using the Variablerw function in the Report generator. but the function is only shows the value in the cell in which i wrote the variablerw function, but not writing the value to the intended variable.
 - The cell from which I want to take the value actually does have a value.
 - The intended variable is an internal variable.
 

What could be the problem?

Dear Anas,

is the module ZM-REPORT licensed in runtime?
Otherwise writing variable values through report generator is not possible.
