    Default zenon server client

    Hi,

I have developed a project to monitor some field instruments value via modbus tcp/ip and its working well...I have to show some of the data to another system with 75'' monitor (Overview).so my question is If use the zenon webserver on the runtime system and access it via webclient is it possible? I will create one seperate page for the 75'' monitoring system.

    Regards
    Sandy

    Dear Sandeep,

yes this is possible. If you only need to show some values in a kind of dashboard also our HTML5 solution could be an option here.
The advantage of that would that the system with the 75'' monitor could be "smaller" in terms of performance as it only has to run a webbrowser and not a full zenon web client.

    Felix

    Dear Sandy,

the license for the HTML Web engine is included in the Web Server or Web Server Pro license.
Please contact your sales representative for details.

    Hello Felix,

I have the webserver pro light license I tried to deploy the webengine but failed with an error message no answer from connector but the connector showing 1 active client...webserver is malfunctioned and not able to re-install...is this the reason??... I wish to demonstrate the HTML5 to customer so this is important

    Hello Felix,

I have tried the HTML5 solution and its working fine except the minor issues with the fonts and styles not supported in html5 so I modified the graphics with the basic fonts and styles. But licensing point of view web server license is expensive than a runtime license

    Sandy

    Hi Sandy,

    thanks for the feedback!
Which license model is more attractive strongly depends on the planned scenario.
Your sales representative can discuss details and find to optimal solution with you.

    Best regards,
    Felix
