Default Firewall Ports for SQL Evacuation from Zenon Historian

We are setting up a zenon Historian on our engineering network that needs to evacuate its data to an SQL server that sits on the other side of a firewall. Which ports in the firewall need to be opened to allow the data to be evacuated to the SQL server?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Default Re: Firewall Ports for SQL Evacuation from Zenon Historian

    Hello,

this strongly depends on the configuration of the SQL server. I suggest to contact the administrator of that SQL-server for clarification.

Some details for Microsoft SQL Server can be found here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/sql-server/install/configure-the-windows-firewall-to-allow-sql-server-access?view=sql-server-ver15

    Regards,
    Felix
