    Hi all,

I am using Zenon Supervisor 7.60 version.

There is a situation when mains power fails the PC operates on UPS supply and there is an event generated in windows event viewer.

This is regarding Reading Windows event logger. When we connect UPS to PC we get status information in Windows Event Viewer as shown in the attached image.

Please tell me how to write the code in csharp to generate a boolean bit so that i can use it for alarm and event for the same.

If you have any code for similar function please share.

    Hello nivish,

Im not sure if that is posible but maybee windows snmp service gives you the information that you need then you simply could use the zenon snmp driver to read the value.

    Hello Nivish,

you can try to use the methods provided in the .Net framework: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dotnet/api/system.diagnostics.eventlog.geteventlogs?view=netf ramework-4.8

In order to build knowledge on how to proper code a zenon SCADA AddIn, I suggest to contact your sales represenaitive for information about training courses on that topic.

    Regards,
    Felix
