Hi, Support.


Is it possible to delete Alarm & event of a specific (absolute) time period ? or few specific alarm or event ?    If yes.. Please explain the same.

Why you want to delete CEL/AML entries?
zenon protects the system against manipulation of the history of the process. A user with respective authorization levels can add/change a comment to CEL/AML entry, e.g. to mark entries where PLC was delivering data with wrong external time stamps etc.

sorry for digging up this thread. But I have a similar question.

How can a particular entry in CEL be deleted?

We use the CEL to log texts entered by the operator. Means the operator can type random text to a box and by hitting a button this text is logged to the the CEL. The button sets a binary variable which uses a dynamic limit text to write the content of a string variable (from the input box) to the CEL. Simple and working so far. But for limits with dynamic texts the comment function is not available - so we need the possibility to edit/delete a certain entry in case the operator made a mistake.

Any hits/workarounds, are apreciated. Also using API is prefered so I could compare the current user with the one of the CEL entry (I'd say, manipulation protection is more a matter of permissions and user levels).
