.DAT integration

Have a project that each machine cycle generates file DATA.DAT and writes new data. Content looks like this:
20180822,04:07:45,18065,1.24
20180822,04:08:08,18066,1.24
20180822,04:08:30,18067,1.24
i wold like to use last data variable (1.24) and see it in runtime, use in analizer and have historical archive of them.
Any solution how can i cennect file with zenon?

Is the DATA.DAT file already available on a PC with zenon installation? Or you ask also about file transfer?

Possible solution would be to start zenon Logic Runtime on the PC/device where DATA.DAT is stored. You can program Logic to read and evaluate the file and put the data (value and timestamp) in a stratonNG variable.

DATA.DAT is output from machine.
We need implament that data into SCADA system.
We can't use any driver becouse its not direct PLC connection.
File Driver can't be used also becouse structure needed
is different then machine outputs (DATA.DAT).

sorry, you haven't answer my question: is this DATA.DAT file still on some remote machine or you have it already on a computer where also zenon is installed?
i wasn't talking about 'file driver' but about file transfer (sending a file via network).

not directly, maybe a colleague has it but not me. Anyway, it is not so complicated task if you know basics about zenon Logic. Do you? Have you ever tried to create in zenon project a zenon Logic project too, and used then a stratonNG variable which value is delivered by zenon Logic?

Yes the DATA.DAT file is on same PC.

I'm new to zenon and i will try figuruot how work with Zenon Logic.
