    Frage Problem with Autotstart project in Straton Runtime Manager

    Hi,

    The Autostart project (Straton Runtime Manager) does not work on some of my computers.

    Does anyone know if there are any registry setting in Windown 10 that prevent Staton Autostart?

    Blinzeln Re: Problem with Autotstart project in Straton Runtime Manager

    It turns out that I can do autostart for Straton RT using .bat file with simple command line:

    start "" "%Zenon_Program_Path%\STRATONRT.exe" PATH=%Runtime_Folder_Path%

    Thank you to my local supplier of Copadata for great tip!!!

    To be honest i do not know what environment variables in Operating System the STRATON Installer creates. Is this your case?
    The zenon Installer - since introduction of 64-bits systems - creates:
    %CD_PROGRAMDATAxxxx% - provides the path of *.sym, *.xsl, *.frm, ... files; xxxx is zenon version, e.g. 7600=C:\ProgramData\COPA-DATA\zenon760\
    %CD_SYSTEM%  - provides the path to *.ini files, e.g.: C:\ProgramData\COPA-DATA\System\
    %CD_USERDATA% - provides the path to projects, e.g.: C:\Users\Public\Documents\zenon_Projects\

    In versions with only 32-bits (ends with 7.00) there was also an environment variable for program installation directory:
    %CD_PROGDIR% -> directory where zenon is installed, e.g.: C:\Program Files (x86)\COPA-DATA\zenon 7.00 SP0\

    You can list (or create) environmental variables with the command line (cmd) set.
    Simple use/check e.g.: in Windows Explorer you may type %CD_SYSTEM% and the Explorer will open the content of the directory with zenon6.ini and zenProcGateway.ini files.

    Since 32/64 bits systems, if you like to use access to program directory via environment variables of OS, please create on each computer in the Network your own environment variable (on all computers with the same name), with the path valid on the particular PC. Then the .bat file (and/or zenon function 'start application') may refer the %% variables and be the same for all PCs.
