Default How can I let a user log in on one PC only?

    Hello,
I am writing a Zenon system which will have 2 servers to talk to the PLCs and two clients which both run the same program.
I need to make sure that a user can only log-on on one of the clients at any time. The other PC should then prevent log-on until the first is logged off.
Is there a simple way to do this?

    Hi,
I guess you look for the "Autorization in Network" which you'll find in projectsettings-network
From the Help chapter(further reading Manual -> Network ->
    Authorization in the network)
    "
    • Inactive
      No operating
authorization required. All computers in the network can operate the project at
      the same time.

    • Global operating
      authorization

Only one computer can operate the project at the same
time (acknowledge alarms, write set values, for example).
      This limitation is
generally applicable for all configured variables.
    • Operating authorization via equipment
      model

The limitation of operation is implemented by means of
linking of variables to the equipment model. Only variables that are assigned
to an equipment model need an operating authorization for
      operation.
Variables that are not linked to an equipment model can always be
      operated."
