if it is possible, try to delete the password.cmp from your Runtime folder and create the Runtime Files again. Dont forget to deactivate the Checkbox for User Administration in Configurate Runtime changeable files
Hello Jack_Alpla,
try to compile all runtime files again in the zenon editor.
Is error displayed on an existing site, or you are making a new project in zenon?
If this is for a new project, I can recommend upgrading to the latest version of zenon.

Stani

Hi all,
What is the reason / cause that the file "password.cmp" is corrupted without any changes?Deleting the file and generating a new one is not an applausible solution.I think you need to give us a definitive solutions or the reason for which it corrupts.
Waiting for your answer.
Best Regards.
Hello all,
i have the same problem with the Password.cmp-File.
It happend twice, the first time i copied the file from a backup.
What could be the reason for this bug? Nothing was changed and the Project is running since April 2017.
Hi.
The reason for corrupted password.cmp files is most likely an inappropriate shut down of an IT System. zenon is running on Windows systems, which requires a proper shut down instead of cutting of the power supply. For many machines this is a commonly used way to "switch off" a machine though. This procedure could corrupt files which are currently accessed by the system, also zenon relevant files like Password.cmp
Our recommendation is always having a system shut down proper, this will avoid issues with corrupted files.
In the rare case of an unplanned blackout please use the above described way of transferring the compiled Password.cmp file to the target system.
BR
Johannes
