    Default I/O Devices

    Hi All,

I want to know more about I/O Devices. Is it the interface between Straton and physical I/Os.From Straton handbook I understood , these I/O s can be made virtual for simulation purposes.I made it virtual by pressing space bar.
Can these inputs be made available for zenon like other inputs ? if possible how to do that?
How these I/Os are supposed to be used?

    Thanks & Regards,
    Nahala

    Default Re: I/O Devices

straton can also use certain I/O boards in the local PC to communicate. Click on the "Open I/Os" icon, double click on one of the empty slots, select your I/O board, (e.g. "WinCon iDIO16") and your I/Os will be available in straton.

For these variables, an alias can be defined. If an alias is defined, and the option "embed symbol" and the profile "straton" are set, these variables would also be available in zenon.
