Thread: Active Directory users do not have correct userlevel

Default Active Directory users do not have correct userlevel

The user in my active directory (AD) can be logged in into zenOn if the Option "use active directory users" has been set in the control panel, however they do not receive the appropiate userlevel I configured with the tool "zenOn user level" from within the AD. Instead the user logged in has the password level "1, 0, 0, 0" for the 4 system variables. What am I doing wrong?

The zenOn version used is 6.20 SP4

Unfortunately in zenOn 6.20, only users from the first organizational unit are checked correctly. If you have a subordinated OU where the users are in, it will not work.

Also if the "display name" is not exactly the same as the logon-name, the userlevel will also not be correctly read.

In zenOn 6.21 these bugs have been fixed!
