Default Store variable data to file on change event

I'm not sure if this is possible but what I would like to be able to do is, as the title suggests, store a variable value as it changes.

I would like to end up with a file like this:

    $variableName, #value, TIME
    $variableName, #value, TIME
    $variableName, #value, TIME
    $variableName, #value, TIME

Is this possible? Would it involve the user of alarms? So many questions!

you could use a spontaneous archiv to store variables when they change. Afterwards you can use the zenon function "export archive" regularly to export the content you need to a ASCII file, see following screenshot.

Name:	ScreenShot393.jpg
Views:	56
Size:	31.2 KB
ID:	156

Therefore you do not need alarms at all.

A second possibility is the usage of VBA, but VBA should only be used if zenon basic functionallity does not fullfil your needs.
The VBA online container gets each value change, in the ON_change Event you can do anything you like, also to write your mentioned data to a file. For further information to VBA please take a look to the VBA Documentation which you can find with the following link.
