Difference bewteen stratonng variables

What is the difference between "driver variable" and "PLC variable"? I mean in stratonng driver.

PLC Variables for StratonNG are for zenon logic

Driver variables can be used for the statistical analysis of communication between the Driver and the Hardware

Please refer to the zenon help for more Information on variables for StratonNG and all other Drivers: "Drivers" -> "StratonNG"
