    Default transparent frame

    Hello,

Is it possible to have a transparent frame ?
The goal is to define a customized shape with a shadow visible over the background screen for a menu window (not modal popup).

    Thx for any support,

    Default AW: transparent frame

    Hi there,

check out "Freely defeineable frame shapes".
Select your frame and at properties activate "Freely defineable frame shape" and then define free frame shape.

Then you can add a rectangle which covers most of the screen and set it to "Cover".
Add another element and set it to "Cut" in order to make a "hole" into the frame.
You can see the result in the attached screenshot.

    Best regards,
    Konstantin

    Hello,

    Thx for your reply.
The freely defined shape is actually ok. What I try to obtain is a shadow effect of the popup freely defined screen (which is not modal) over the background screen.
Check the attached file, there is an example of what I would like to create. Hope it's clearer

    Thx

    Hey,

thanks for the picture, now it's clear what you want.
Unfortunately it's not possible to draw outside of the free frame.
You can only fake it - but then there would be no real half transparency.

    Best regards,
    Konstantin
