Default How to define register address dynamically?

    Hello everyone,

I have to read event buffer from one device. It would be hell of a work to define all of the registers from buffer - so I wanted to define only 5 variables, all of the rest is the same. I mean, I have 500 registers - every event has one for event code and 4 for date and time.

So my question is: am I able to dynamically write register address? It would be really helpful

Maybe would be helpful but unfortunately also a "nice feature" to omit the license

In Logic you can easy create many variables - use 'Add multi variables' - available by right-click in variable list.

When these are variables for a driver with profile you can from Profile dialog export (available by right click there) single variable(s) to a text file (*.CSV), then using any editor, e.g. Notepad, Word etc., you can add entries in file and then import into Profile list back.

I do not have to omit the license - I have unlimited tags in Logic

But creating thousands of variables is not "efficient engineering", "ergonomic & dynamic process solutions" and most of all - it is not "do it your way"

Most systems allow you to use pointers or something like that and I hoped for same solution in Logic...
