I forgive errors in writing :

    -network card 1
    -network card 2

for PC-HMI the IP address is 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.200

    not 192.168.1.100 and 192.168.1.100

    Hello hajjsaid99,

In the project properties, please use the computer name of server 1 and server 2 instead of the IP address. zenon networking requires the computer name to be used and network name resolution to be available in the network. Name resolution can be achieved through a DNS server or local "HOSTS" files.

Your remote transport settings basically are correct. You can do a remote transport like this, first for server 1, then for the server 2 and finally for the HMI client.

Once the runtime files are transported for the first time, and the runtime is running, you only need to transport the runtime files to current server and perform a reload of the runtime. The standby server and the HMI client will then be automatically updated.

Instead of the remote transport, you can also use the topology view in the zenon editor. Here you can create entries for your server 1, server 2 and the HMI client, set the start project and define the location where the runtime files should be located. After the configuration is done, you can then transfer the runtime files to all configured systems.

    Best regards,
    Mark

    Hi hajjsaid99,

Unfortunately, I'm not quite sure what exactly does not work.

You do need to install the zenon runtime on all three PCs prior to attempting a remote transport.

    Best regards,
    Mark

    okay

for this I have a question

we declare the server name in project properties - Network

but not declare the client PC.

-so the client PC, how to communicate with the servers ?????

-is that does not require a specific configuration, ??????

thank you and sorry for the bad english

You use remote transport to transport the runtime files to the client. In the runtime files it is specified which computer is server 1 and which computer is server 2.

So when the runtime on the client starts, it already has the local runtime files. From these files it knows that it needs to connect to its primary server or secondary server.

    Hello Mr markclemens,

First, thank you for your valuable help.
I’ m glad to tell you that redundancy had finally worked, but I have some problems with delays response, because when I disconnect the primary server, I must wait more than 30 seconds to visualize my states. In other hand, when I disconnect the secondary server I don’t have such a delay.

One other thing is that I have the entire view of my application just in server1, for the 2 others (server2 and PC-client) I can’t visualize my tab menu.
Enclosed, you can see pictures that show what i previously described.

I think there is a AUTOSTART_CLIENT Script missing. The Server 1 runs the AUTOSTART/AUTOSTART_SERVER Script but the Clients (the Standby Server is also a Client when Server1 is running) only Show the startpicture.
Goto Functions -> scripts and create AUTOSTART_CLIENt Script and link the same functions (or what you want to be executed on the Clients) as in the AUTOSTART/SERVER Script.
