Zenon 7.10 Client license

Hi everybody,

I am new in zenon world. I just have a very simple question:

Which RT license do I need for each zenon client in a redundant server/client environment with 10 Clients which are running all only one project with the hole variables of the server? The same like the servers?

Hi,

you need need the Supervisor Edition for each Client in order to have Redundancy.

For more details (regarding available modules, etc.) I would suggest you to get in contact with your local sales representative.

Could you please be a little more specific on that?
What exactly do you mean by license?

You do not need any special Module for redundancy (it is always included, except for zenon Operator), but you need to have a certain type (zenon - Supervisor - Runtime) in this case.

As mentioned, I'd recommend to get in touch with your local sales representative.

I have a redundant server with Runtime license zenon SU RT 16384 TAGs on each of them.

Now the question is, which runtime license I need on each of the 10 clients?

Our sales agents are not reachable at the moment, thats why I put my question here.

Dear Michael,

Thank you for your post!

Regarding your question for the clients, you will be needing exactly the same amount of tags as the servers. So in your case 16384 Tags.
Please keep in mind that if you have certain modules licensed that these also need to be licensed on the clients in order to give you the functionality of these modules. This depends on the modules that you are using. For example the Extended Trend, this needs to be licensed on both servers and on each client.
