Default Activate a button in VSTA (to Acquit alarms)

    Hey,

Is it possible to activate a button in VSTA ?

I want to acquit all alarms in another synoptic (normal type).

Even if there is another way to acquit alarms, I'm still interrested to know how to activate a button in VSTA !

    Best regards,

Default AW: Activate a button in VSTA (to Acquit alarms)

    Hi,

by "Activate" you mean you want to "Simulate" the click of a user on a button?

If yes, the only way to do that is to create a script in zenon containing the following 3 functions:
    - set focus on frame (the frame where your screen containing the button is based on)
    - move focus (on your button)
    - activate element with focus
then creating a script execute function with this script and calling this function in VSTA (via RtFunctions().Item("MyScriptExecuteFunction").Start())

    Regards,
    Bernhard

you can direct execute the function "Alarms: acknowledge" via the zenon API
-> create the standard function in the editor (configure it to your needs)
-> via the zenon API (in the zenon Runtime) you execute the function - via the method .Start()
    -> see help documentation at Manual -> Programming interfaces -> Objectmodel -> RtFunction -> RtFunction-Methods -> Start

doing so it is not necessary to have the AML screen opened in order that a certain function linked to a button should be executed...
