    Default Relays Offline In Runtime

    Dear Support,

We are using DNP3-Process gateway over serial communication. Our network include 50 relays out of which 3 relays are showing offline on Gateway Runtime. In actual Relay is reachable(pingable) and from other workstation on the same network it shows online on Zenon Runtime. The only problem for these 3 relays are on Gateway Runtime.

Please suggest what could be the possibilities for this problem.

    Hi junaid,

I'm not exactly sure what you mean with "appear offline in the gateway".

You say, you have a zenon runtime with a DNP3 process gateway, using serial communication. I assume, that you have a single gateway running, which is a DNP3 outstation with a certain DNP address.

Then you have a serial DNP3 master, that is communicating with the DNP3 outstation in the process gateway.

Where exactly do you see that 3 relays are offline? And why do you think they are offline?

    Best regards,
    Mark
