Communication and CPU - Power Problems

I did the Connection with WIFI from zenon RT to EV3.

If i just use the variable monitor in zenon logic - it works (but also there, every 5 to 10 s there is an interuption of the communication between Controller and PC).

When i start up zenon RT and communicate with some variables, it is a Desaster.

I lost the Connection every second and the Controller is out of order - there is sometimes a delay of 20 to 30 s until the command is written to the Controller!

Are there any Settings to Speed up the communication?

Hello Marcel,

First be sure to have the latest runtime version on the EV3.
I think V1.3/8.2.101109 is the most recent. The 20-30 seconds probably come from the reconnect delay in the zenon driver settings. You can make that shorter if you want.
Also reduce the cycle time for the zenon logic project, so there is enough time left for the communication.

i used the Version you mention.

Cycle time --> you mean to extend the cycle time, not to reduce (i am already at 600ms - with this you never get a proper control for Motion!).

The 20 - 30 seconds is not for reconnect - this Setting is by 1s, it's the delay between a command and the reaction of the Controller!

I reduce my application now and make more sequentially - i hope this would help ...

I am running at 50 msec with a small program and that's not bad.
I do see a red dot every now and then, but it is much better as before.
