    Default Problem with SQL Driver

    Hello,
I've got a problem. I'm using SQL Server to change value of variable in zenon.
I created 2 tables zRECEIVE and zSEND, configured sql driver and add the same variables name in driver and in my project.
After I insert data in zRECEIVE table zenon read them and delete row, but the Value on variable in Runtime doesn't change. I have no idea why?

To create table i used that example:
    CREATE TABLE [dbo].[zRECEIVE](
    [ID] [bigint] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL,
    [NAME] [nvarchar](max) NOT NULL,
    [DATUMZEIT] [datetime] NOT NULL,
    [ZEIT_MS] [int] NOT NULL,
    [WERT] [nvarchar](max) NOT NULL,
    [STATUS] [int] NOT NULL,

Should the columns DATUMZEIT, ZEIT_MS and STATUS have special format or values?
I didnt found information about that.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

For testing of the table, you could set in the driver the same table for sending and for receiving, then when you set a value, the driver writes in the table, and reads this just written line from the table back.
If that work the table is ok.

    Hello zenek92,

When the row is deleted, this would normally mean that the SQL driver successfully read the line.

Did you create the variable for the SQL driver in the zenon editor, using the "import variables from driver" option?

When you are using redundancy, with a server and standby server, make sure you add the appropriate column in the table. Otherwise it may happen that the standby reads the value before the server does, and the row gets deleted before the server can read the value. In this case the value in the runtime is also not updated.

    Best regards,
    Mark
