Default Change Numeric display color on inactive

Each numeric display has the ability to show a red box when variable is not communicating with the controller. Is it possible to change the text color when not communicating instead?

I have been able to change the background using a combined element animating a rectangle symbol. I do not know how to tie a combined element to a numeric display if it is possible.

    Hi,

this can be done as following:

Create a symbol displaying the variable in numerical value element
    - Set the textcolor to red (or whatever you like)
    - Disable "Show status of the variable"
    - Any other customization...

Create another symbol displaying the variable in numerical value element
    - Set the textcolor to black
    - Disable "Show status of the variable"
    - Any other customization...

In your screen create a combined element
    - Use symbol 2 for the Default status
    - Create one state only evaluating the Invalid bit (1) (other status are . ) -> Display the first symbol.
