Filter option in Report viewer

Hi everybody.

i have multiple variables in report. i want to filter variables with their

name/identification. how to do so.please check attachment.

Hi Jahidbagwan,

What dataset are you using in your report? Perhaps you can post a sample project and describe in a bit more detail what you would like to do?

The table in the report viewer works in a way that on each row one item that is included in the dataset is provided. This way you can access in one row all fields of such an item.

In your screenshot you have multiple "[VALUE]" columns. These would all access the same [VALUE] field of one item included in the dataset. (the value of one variable)

I am using Archives as dataset..
having variables in historian assigned to these archives..
I created screen switch function to switch report viewer screen..
In my report all columns having different archives(value)..
Now i want to filter the variable/identification(Tower & consumer name) in my report..
Thanks for assistance..
