Default Auto export of CEL mix up events in export files...

    Hello all

I want to export a CEL every day at midnight containing the events of the day in a file where the name states the date.

I have a Zenon 6 6.51, where i have defined a Timecontrol "cyclic from that day" at 23:59:00, it calls a build in function "Export CEL"

Export CEL is set up to export with the date as filename and "Set tilter at time filter type" and "Relative period of time" set to 1 day.

The problem is that sometimes, stores events from the day before in a file. What is set wrong here?

    Kindly regards

    Hi ttj,

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the forum

Do you have an idea under which circumstances events from the previous day are included in the export file?

What file date (file properties in Windows explorer) does the export file have?
How many events from the previous day (roughly how much time) are included?

In theory with these settings 1 minute of the previous day could be included (23:59:00)

    Best regards,
    Mark

    Hi ttj,

What are the different timestamps of the file "c130831.txt" when you look in Windows Explorer in the file properties?

What timezone is the PC that runs the runtime on, set to? Is the PC with the editor in the same timezone?

    Best regards,

    Hi Thomas,

My guess based on the timestamp is that every day the function is executed 1 minute earlier, and your cycle time is also 23hours and 59 minutes.

A cyclic function executed every 23hours and 59 minutes, would be executed at 23:15 after about 45 days.

When you use "from that day" at the time control function, tick all days for the execution days, and specify midnight for the execution time, it should work without the function being executed 1 minute earlier.

    Best regards,
    Mark
