    Default Getting symbol name

    Hey guys,

    I've got a symbol which has a few combined elements in it and an invisible button on top. The invisible button runs a macro on a left click. In the script I am trying to retrieve the name of the symbol (NOT the invisible button on top). Is there any way of doing this ?? All I've managed to do is grab the name of the invisible button (see code below)

    Public Sub LeftClickDown_Default(obElem As Element)
    Set zVariables = thisProject.Variables

        objString = CStr(obElem.Name) 'this is where the problem is

        Girder = objString + ".Girder"
        Colors = objString + ".Color"
        Model = objString + ".Model"
        MsgBox (Girder)
        MsgBox (Colors)
        MsgBox (Model)

    End Sub

    The invisible button on top ensures that the script is run regardless of where the user clicks on the symbol. Is there a way around this in the script or even in zenon itself??

    Thanks for any help!
