Default zenon Webclient crashes in Mozilla Firefox

If you start the zenon Webclient with bigger zenon projects, the webclient starting time is sometimes longer than 45 seconds.
In the standard configuration of Firefox there is a timeout for any used plugin.
So if the zenon Webclient needs longer than 45 seconds to start, an crash message appears:

To change this timeout time, you can configure by typing “about:config” in the address field:

You must acknowledge the following warning by clicking the button.

As next search for the string “dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs”.
The value of this configuration string is the plugin timeout in seconds (standard: 45).
You can change the value by double-clicking the selected line “dom.ipc.plugins.timeoutSecs”.
If you enter the value “-1” the plugin timeout will be deactivated.

Cool Re: zenon Webclient crashes in Mozilla Firefox

    Firefox: "Warning: Unresponsive plugin"

If you start bigger projects with the actual Firefox, at the start the message "Warning: Unresponsive plugin" ("zenon may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the plugin now, or you can continue to see if the plugin will complete.") could appear.
Message in German: "Warnung: Nicht antwortendes Plugin"
Tested with Firefox 39.0 and zenon 7.20 Webclient plugin.

This leads to a default timeout of 11 seconds after plugin start, configurable in Firefox.
If the plugin is not responding within these 11 seconds, the message appears and vanishes if the plugin loaded the project(s).

    You can extend the timeout:

Configure it directly in your Firefox - first open the configuration with "about:config".
Type in "dom.ipc.plugins.hangUITimeoutSecs" and set the default value "11" seconds to your needed timeout.

In my case I used 60 seconds, which works fine.
