Default Zenon Editor 6.20 - Control Logic Addressing

I just recently started using Zenon Editor to edit Krones HMI screens. I've figured out how to link a variable address from the editor to a Siemens PLC but, Im having trouble linking to a control logic PLC. I know the driver needs to be LOGIX32 LOGIX32, but the Addressing is confusing. One of the fields is labelled Data block, but data blocks are non-existent in Control Logic. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Daren,

With the control logix PLC, the addressing is name based, unlike the siemens PLCs which require a numerical data block and a numerical memory offset.

The logix32 driver supports online browsing of variables from the PLC, which are then automatically created in the zenon editor. (only select the variables you need to make sure you don't exceed your licensed tag count)

Have a look at the driver documentation for the logix32 driver, which should be located on your zenon DVD!

    Best regards,
