    Default VBA and CEL

    Hi,
I have a VBA script which reads the state of an internal variable in Zenon and is currently creating an entry in the CEL. The internal variable limits are not sent to the CEL. How can I suppress this entry ?

    Cheers,

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

I'm not sure, but could it be that you mean that you write an internal variable, and this results in an entry in the CEL? By default changing values through an operator action or VBA script is logged in the CEL.

You can configure global logging parameters for the audit trail in the project properties, and individually for each variable.

Check the variable properties of the internal variable. In the "set value" section, you should see the checkbox for the logging of values via VBA, which you can deactivate for each variable separately.

I hope this is what you were looking for

    Regards,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,

The checkbox in the Write Set Value section is exactly what I was looking for.

    Cheers,

    Rob
