Default Nested Structured Data Type in Combi Element

    Hi,
I have created a variable of type nested structured Data Type (Refer fig 1). I want to link the some sub variable under the structured Variable with Combi element for the display purpose. But am not seeing the sub variables under the Configuration and Test Window of the combi element (Refer fig 2).

Please suggest a way to link the structured variable to the Combi element

    TIA

    Hi,

One thing that you should check, is to expand the first column in the variables list, so you can expand the complete tree of the structure variable down to the last structure element.

Another thing that you should check is, if all sub-elements are also enabled. You can add elements to the structure datatype, and choose not to activate the elements at the existing variables.

To activate all elements at the structure variables at once, right click the datatype, and select "activate all elements based on this type".

    Hope this helps!
    Regards,
    Mark

    Hi,

I activated all the elements in the structure and also expanded the first column in the variable list. But still I am not able to add the sub variable from the structured variable.(When I add the variable and come back to the configuration and test window it shows the second variable as "",refer pic1 in the attachment).
