    Default Mean of Archived Values

    Hi Support,

Using Zenon 6.51 is there a way to calculate the Mean of Archived Values and display it in the Reports (using report generator module)? Please note that I am not interested in displaying all the values (for which I want to take the Mean) in the Reports and then show their Mean in another Cell of the Report. The Archive Server is storing the values as per logging frequency defined in Cycle time and I want to have an access to these logged values.
    Any clue, idea?

    Thanks.

the proper way is first to create as called "following archive" - an Archive storing Average/Min/Max etc. values from your first Archive. Then you use this additional, compact Archive in Report.

PS. Please put in forum thread "Energy" only questions about Energy features in zenon, OK?

PS, change the description of your forum for 'Energy Edition' from 'All about the Zenon Energy Edition' to 'Issues related to Energy features of Zenon Energy Edition Only'

    Thanks!

Oh, as i see not OK .

I've thought that it is obvious what is specific for Energy, but you are right it must not be obvious for everyone, my fault, sorry. For sure it might be not so obvious for someone who uses from the beginning Energy Edition of zenon and never had opportunity to know which zenon parts are common for all editions. I will see if i can change the description of this thread, thank you.

The clue is that diverse specialists are focusing of diverse threads, thus when you put your question into right category you have better chances to get quickly the answer.

I understand that you are receiving lot of queries and issues and definitely you would like them to be well organized in order to process them. But for this, the descriptions should be as obvious and clear as they can be. I really thought about where I should post this issue, and the only place felt appropriate was 'All about Zenon Energy Edition'.

Never mind and thanks for your useful and quick answer as it has solved our issue
