Default Link between an INT PLC variable and a STRING interne variable?

Hi! I have a question about STRING variables...

In fact, my program ZenOn reads directly an INT variable from a PLC (who controls a machine). Its value represents different status of the machine. For example, value 0 represents “System OK”, value 1 “Program Stop”, value 200 “Grid disconnected”, value 7002 “Wiring Swtich Open”, …… etc.

For the user of my program ZenOn RT, I can’t show them just these INT values.. I must show them the correspondent explanation TEXT. That means, I think I should create an internal STRING variable and map it to the source INT variable, then the STRING variable can be shown by a element.

But technically how to do the mapping? Can you indicate me the most practical way? Thanks a lot!

create limits to the INT variable (or via Rema)
-> when linking the INT variable to a dynamic text element the actual limit text will be shown
