    Default Does "Project_Active" work only with ACTIVE DIRECTORY on?

    It seems that the VBA Method Project_Active doesn't work in my project. Can this be due to the disactivated "Access to Active Directory" field?
    Thanks

    No, you don't need to activate the option "access to active directory" in order for the ProjectActive event to work.

    "access to active directory" is a seperate feature, where you can use Microsoft Active Directory users (Windows Users from a domain controller) to login into zenon.

    When your ProjectActive event does not appear to work, please make sure that your VBA ProjectAddin can be compiled correctly, that VBA is active in the runtime on the target computer, that events are active for VBA on the target computer.

    Please note, that you cannot set a breakpoint in the VBA IDE in the zenon editor, to break at "ProjectActive" in the runtime. (write "STOP" instead)

    Please also note, that VBA is generally not available in zenon on Windows CE.

    VBA is working in my project, but if a put a

    msgbox("example")

    in the Project_Active procedure, nothing popups.
    Other question: are variables created within Project_Active procedure global or local?

    thanks again

    check following entry in the zenon6.ini file

    [VBA]
    EIN=1
    EVENT=1
