Default Format of SQL query results in Report Generator

    Hello

I use the "sqldao" - command to set queries from a mysql database by ODBC. This works so far, but the results which are of type TIMESTAMP or TEXT are not displayed in the right format. Numbers are okay so far.

Any idea how I can display texts and times from the MySQL DB in report generator?

    regards
    peter

I found the source of the problem - MySQL is usually working with the charset utf8.
So I had to switch at the odbc - driver to the charset to "ascii".

Now, I just fight with the timestamp format of mysql.
It is like this: "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss".

Is there a way to display it right in the report generator?

ahh, I found again a solution:
I use for TIMESTAMP Types a cell format as follows: *0000-00-00 00:00:00
